Pacific MicroElectronics was started in Hong Kong in 1999 by a team of engineers and professionals coming from Asian and foreign electronic, telecom or industrial companies. The objective was to set up a strong and experienced team to support and manage end to end electronic and mechanical projects for overseas companies. Electronic and mechanical design optimization, engineering, sourcing, costing, … up to manufacturing are handled in house. Manufacturing is subcontracted to carefully selected suppliers in China. Subcontracting allows us to maintain flexibility in technical, purchasing, quality choices and requirements for better strategic alignment with our clients objectives versus direct investments requiring regular costly upgrades. We operate as an extension of our clients engineering and purchasing organization meaning they have access to resources without internal fixed overheads.
Working with market leading clients has made Pacific a reputable company in terms of value, quality and trust. Long term relationships took many years to establish.
